The iconic Bates’ House, situated in an area surrounded with hills, when imagined shot with a drone from above, forms the main brand initials ‘MA’ of the brand Milton’s Audiohouse, where the hills form the letter ‘M’ and the Bates’ house forms the letter ‘A’. The porch steps go on to form audio sound signals symbolise the house to be an audiohouse. The biggest twist is when you look at the house with the windows and door lights on, you can see Milton Arbogast’s last face of horror when Bates disguised as his mother, comes to kill him. Since Milton died here in this house making his last sound of pain, it makes sense to call this mark as the name of the brand.

The hybrid MA monogram cum logomark also looks like the dress Bates wears that belongs to his mother. The mark is responsive, scalable and can work as a standalone icon for big to small visual identity size usages.

The wide bold string typeface is inspired by what Saul Bass used in the films opening title sequences.

Black and white has been used and has been inspired from the black and white theme used by Bass in Psycho to compliment Hitchcock’s tastes for film noir and to also match the thriller slasher film psychology.
