concept

Milton met his death going to the top of Bates’ house. The silhouette of the top of the house matches the iconic detective hat icon of Milton. This hat icon has also been widely used as a symbol of anonymity which represents mystery. When this house/hat icon is visually treated with the vertical slasher lines used by Bass in 1960, the mark develops dual meaning and can now be seen as an audio visualizeer symbol too. Hence, ‘Milton’s Audiohouse.

The mark, when flipped upside down, also forms a very cool and meaningful brand pattern of audio signal visualizers that can be used and extended in the visual brand identity.

This is a minimalist, responsive, and scalable mark that can be easily used as a standalone icon for various brand identity usages, aiding high recognition and memorability.

A strong, bold sans serif has been used along with a black & white versatile brand color palette inspired by the original Milton film that can easily blend with any other secondary or tertiary brand color or the parent company TVINART.
